Assistant Children's Librarian
ASSISTANT CHILDREN’S LIBRARIAN
The Muskingum County Library System seeks a creative, community oriented professional with a passion and commitment for providing quality service to children to fill a 30 hour per week Assistant Librarian position. Applicant must have prior experience in working with young children. Children’s programming experience and computer experience with emphasis on Internet searching is a plus. Responsibilities include: Children’s reference services, materials selection/collection development, and programming for children (infants through 6th grade). Qualifications: Bachelors degree in elementary or early childhood education with a strong background in children’s literature. Rate of pay: $12.59 per hour. Benefits: Health and Life insurance, two weeks vacation, sick leave, personal days, and usual holidays.
