Students in grades 1-5 are invited to read and learn about Kirsten Larson. Nine-year-old Kirsten and her family experience many hardships as they travel from Sweden to the Minnesota frontier in 1854. Registered participants will be loaned a copy of the book. Registration is requested, limited and free of charge. Contact the New Concord Branch Library for more information and to register - 740.826.4184.
The Friends of the New Concord Branch Library invite you to their annual sale of gently used books and more all at bargain prices. The last hour of the sale is a buck-a-bag sale where the Friends will be selling bags for $1.00. Customers may then fill the bag with as many treasures as they choose. Proceeds benefit programs at the branch library.
