Back by popular demand! Ohio Paper Folders will present this 2 hour session on Origami, which literally means folding paper. It has been a popular activity both in its native Japan and in the United States. All participants will have the opportunity to create their own origami with the assistance of Monica Salisbury of the Ohio Paper Folders group. All materials will be supplied. As one of the oldest cities in Ohio, Zanesville has a rich and fascinating history filled with many tales of the mysterious and unexplained. Join us in welcoming the Ohio Exploration Society as they share stories of haunted Zanesville and Muskingum County, as well as accounts of their own paranormal investigations. Area adults are invited to this latest Lunch & Learn program where author and speaker Brenda Nixon will discuss Amish culture. With an insider's look at the Amish way of life, Nixon brings Amish neighbors and friends to life. Her daughter is married to an ex-Amish man, the son of a bishop, and Nixon's home has become a safe house of sorts for those who have chosen to live in the English world.
