Civil War Oddities

April marks the 150 year anniversary of the end of the American Civil War. To mark this occasion, historian and Program Development Director for Roscoe Village, Chris Hart, will present a talk entitled Civil War Oddities. Hart will share some of the strange events and coincidences that occurred during this epic four year battle. Included are tales of strange deaths, chance meetings and unsolved mysteries. This program is a must for any Civil War or history enthusiast. Registration is requested for this free program.

ArtReach from the Children's Theatre of Cincinnati presents The Wind in the Willows

The entire family is invited to this new musical adaptation of the classic 1908 children's tale by Kenneth Grahame. The peaceful lives of Mole and Rat are interrupted when Toad discovers a new and exciting invention - the motorcar! But this new fascination soon turns to obsession and the fate of Toad Hall hangs in the balance. Desperate, his friends enlist the help of the reclusive Badger, who lives deep in the Wild Wood. A classic story of friendship, keeping up with the times and conquering one's fears, this production is sure to appeal to all ages.

Cupcake Pin Cushion Craft
