Be sure to stop by the Carnegie Wing Gallery on the second floor of John McIntire Library to see works by local artist Kathryn Sheppard. Many will remember this talented Roseville artist for the beautiful miniatures and Christmas cards she painted. Primarily self-taught, Kathryn won numerous awards in her time, exhibited across the country and taught art classes for many years. Her hand painted, on-of-a-kind Christmas cards were particularly admired and collected. The Carnegie Wing Gallery is free and open to the public Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
